Jane by Design is ABC Family`s newest addition and when you squint you can even over look the ridiculous notion that a high schooler can get the position of PA but it has a hard stand because after Switched at Birth any show has a difficult live.
Jane Quimby is a 16 year old high school loner with a, well lets call it rebellious and forward fashion style. As any teenage girl in a TV Show she has a long time crush and a guy best friend (who is the only one who knows about her double life). Don`t run away it gets even crazier.
By the second episode this girl has to attend a fashion line preview and her winter formal at the same time, and the whole thing almost works. And naturally so the show doesn't`t blow up in a matter of seconds she manages the high fashion stuff but crumbles in the personal life section of a high schooler …. oh yeah and the old dress of her mom, which she reworked and pepped a little is sent out as the final puzzle piece of her designer bosses line (yeah I see a fun reveal coming when the line hits stores 
).
Okay enough nagging … it is a fun and quirky show and it could develop into a new guilty pleasure.
